Rat Race Modpack
Modpack that provides minor gameplay changes that allow you to loot up more and spend less time running overloaded. Also included are a few minor changes and this mod is VERY specific.
This modpack is my attempt at changing various config file settings to achieve my own preferred play style. This doesn’t make the game easier necessarily, more of a quality of life thing. (Although it definitely doesn’t make it harder…)
– Halved weapon durability loss
– Halved repair cost
– Reduced stamina cost from sprinting, jumping, vaulting, and melee attacks.
– Better Ballistics by Kazz7420
– No Dialogue Zoom (90FOV) by TheCorex
– Jake’s Longer Days (1.5x) by JakeKingsly
– Halved Ammo, Nades, Food, and Meds Weight by truditu
This is more or less a large mod merge but some of it I had to do by hand still to perfect my values for my own preferences, so I thought I might as well post it if someone else was interested in my particular mod list.
If you guys want any features tweaked/fixed, let me know in the comments. If it’s something I prefer I might change it, but if I like my own stuff I’ll keep it as is. I am including my uncompressed files for download so that anyone can edit and repack the folder for their own usage. Good hunting stalker!
Installation
Simply place the .pak file in your “~mods” folder -> [\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods]
Uninstallation
Reverse this process, remove the .pak file from the same folder.
This mod will conflict with anything that changes these files I believe (it’s a lot I know, sorry)

Feel free to use my files however you wish. It’s just config files, I couldn’t care less. They’re very low effort.
