WeatherMans ReShade Guide for Beginners.
Here’s a simple guide on how to create your own ReShade preset, based on the method I personally use to develop my presets with ReShade.
Feel free to use this guide however you wish, whether for personal projects or mods. You’re also welcome to edit and modify any ReShade presets I’ve uploaded on this mod page. The goal is to give you the tools to create and share your own mods, whether for personal use or public release.
The only thing I kindly ask is that your work is represented here as a way to promote your creations. This way, others can discover your work, visit your page, and support your future projects.
I also hope to create an archive of every ReShade preset made for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, so they don’t get lost over time. It’s a way to keep these creations alive and appreciated.
1. Build Your ColorBase
The ColorBase folder contains 5 templates you can use to try different color grades in-game until you find your chosen one.
It’s easier to have 5 to test, swap between them, and avoid losing a setting that might have worked better.
use ReShade fx.
[PD80_04_Color_Balance.fx]
to build your colors.
Once satisfied, copy the color profile you like into
Folder 2: Brightness Contrast Saturation
Make 5 new copies of your configured ColorBase Preset.
2. Brightness Contrast Saturation
same workflow with brightness Contrast Saturation.
configure and test and play to your hearts content.
once your done. repeat the process to next folder.

Beginner Pack 1.01
To get things started, I’ve put together a pack of multiple beginner-friendly presets for those who want an easy introduction.
All of them (except one) focus primarily on color adjustments, contrast, exposure, and similar settings, making them very lightweight and FPS-friendly.
You can find them in the files.
