More Tolerable Anomaly Detector Beep
Anomaly detector is too loud and annoying sometimes. I tried a few different pda and detector sounds from Shadow of Chernobyl. not many worked. “detector_radio_beep.ogg” was most fitting for a lower and less abrasive sound.
As with any addon ive ever uploaded, its something i made for myself and figured why not share it.
i know ClaytorYurnero uploaded a version. it wasnt working well for me. maybe my ears or my audio settings, etc.
when testing, seems a config may speed up the audio file and crashes the game on many sounds i tried. you have to convert them twice and pack them up and then restart the game to see if/how they work. over and over. the least fun part of making addons like this is basically the whole thing.
i am settling for this sample from SoC, “detector_radio_beep.ogg” .
i wanted to upload a few choices here but,. im over this for now. if i make more in the future, ill upload them.
Install:
drop “Anomaly_Detector-detector_radio_beep.pak” into “…\STALKER 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods” folder.
