Ekkaia ‘Personal-Community’ Pack (EPCP)

Yes, another modpack. UPDATED FOR 1.0.3.

Contains rebalances, performance tweaks and QoL mods that I compile for my personal use, improving some rough edges, unfair balances and facilities, but respecting the idea of the game, making STALKER 2 more enjoyable until more patches comes out.

The work that this modpack contains is not made by me. I only select mods, merge some, made small edits and sharing it for anyone that founds useful: just uncompress and go.

Key features:
Difficulty rebalance: Deadly NPC and mutants enemies, but less spongy. Fair health & damage rework for mutants. NPC uses fewer grenades but deadly. Adjusted weapons, ammo and balistics characteristics. Deadly radiation. Mainly, “Maklane’s Better Zone” (with difficulty increased a bit) & “Modular Hard Mode” mods.
Economy rebalance: Balanced armor/weapons durability. Consumables costs more. Less loot, especially on NPC corpses (appears by rank), so map loot and stashes becomes important.
Health rebalance: Medkits do not insta-heal. Bandages only stop bleeding. More dangerous bleeding. More logical food effects.
Weight rebalance: A little softened, reducing ammo, meds, consumables & grenades types to a more logical weight by ~0%-33%-50%.
AI improvement: More “living” A-Life with “A-Life Extended”. More logical NPC detection, covering, flanking and decisions (many issues related in the game) with “Novichok’s AI Rebalance”. Difficulty scales by enemy rank.
Performance improvements: More fps, anti-stutter, anti-lag, anti-mouse smoothing, LOD & pop-in fixes, mainly with “Ultimate Engine Tweaks”. Not mandatory, but very recommended taking a look to “Engine.ini” and configure the commented lines.
Graphics & visuals: More varied, logical, improved and less predictable weather with “Dynamic Weather Overhaul”. Improved indoor brightness (eye adaptation).
Audio: Enabled binaural and sound occlusion alongside other sound enhancements.
Increased the day length by 25%.
More and improved blood wallmarks and bloody wounds with “Painter of the Zone”.
QoL: Improved ledge grabbing. More objects with physics. Decals last longer. Ammo type explicit in ammo icons. A bit less zoom dialog. A bit more unarmed zoom. Increased look angles (first person legs & ladders). Enlarged interact objects area (F key). No intros opening the game. Disabled “cache warm up”. Large UI loot height window. Real weapon names.

Use at your own risk, I can’t guarantee perfect operation (neither vanilla game anyway…).

I prefer to not include nice mods that add items to maintain save game compatibility. The same for “console loader” mods. These are nice, but maybe add complex to process.

No file conflicts between mods, and the existing conflicts are solved by load order.

Take a look to readme, anyway.
