MAC10 (Gangster) Gold Skin and Instruction for Skins Modding
Gold-plated Camouflage for MAC10/Gangster
How I did it:
I’m surprised that I got a “gold-plated” skin for MAC10, since I made quite a few mistakes and thought I’d screw it up.
1. Installed Blender.
2. Install the add-on psk/psa.
3. Installed GIMP 2.10.38.
4. Extracting weapon models in FModel:
Select from the top in FModel Loading Mod-ALL, then click Load
The first path (for good models) is Stalker2/Content / _Stalker_2/Cutscenes/SK_Weapons
The second path (for bad models) is Stalker2/Content/_Stalker_2/weapons/*classweapon/*weapon/AnimMesh/*weaponnameSM_offset. uasset
Right click on the model and Save Model
Thanks to user “Henrymai” for this explanation.
5. I watched this tutorial divided into 4 parts (yes, yes, do not be surprised that it is on CS: GO), simultaneously creating approximately the same skin in Blender .
6. I combined the baked textures in GIMP and corrected the red parts of the textures (instead of the gold-plated ones) after baking the textures profusely.
7. We search for and save the name of the texture and its path from Fmodel.
Textures are usually labeled “Textures” and also saved with the right mouse button Save Textures
8. Packed using UnrealEngine 5.1 from guide suunnnnn.
6. I am very glad that I got a simple, but the first (1!) “beautiful Vasyan” retexture of standard camouflage. True, it still turned out not a gold camouflage, but a wooden one.
How to install:
Copy z_MAC10_P. pak, ucas, utoc to the next location: \Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods
If the ~mods folder does not exist, create it!
