Increased AI distance spawn, AI models distance view, Disabled spawn in the back & more!
A bundle of ALife tweaks for the current system (online ALife), which aims to fix recurrent issues.
WHAT IT DOES
Increased AI Distance Spawn
From 50m-60m to 80m-100m
Increased AI Distance View
from 70m to 120m
• Disabled “Spawn in the back”
Spawns now only occurs at an angle of 180° (instead of 360°)
• Increased POIs respawn time
From 5mn to 6mn
• Increased POIs Respawn Distance
From 25m to 65m
• All Spawns timers use Default Settings
No crazy spawn and action everywhere. It’s just vanilla flavor with increased spawn distance.
(Except POI respawn time. See above)
TWEAKS
Since the AI Distance spawn/view is increased, enemies can now aggro from afar.
As a counter measure, the following tweaks have been applied:
• Very slightly decreased player visibility
10% tuned down. This avoid to get “instantly spotted” at 100m.
Thanks to Axxii’s Stealth Mod for the settings.
(This mod does NOT includes Axxi’s Stealth Mod, it just tune down few settings based on Axxii’s discoveries)
• Increased mid/long range NPC dispersion
This reduce laser beam shots from long distance

INSTALLATION
Open the folder “/S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl/Stalker2/Content/Paks/~mods/”
Note: If the “/~mods/” folder doesn’t exist, create it
Place the file “ZZZZ_ALife_Extended_P.pak” in the “/~mods/” folder
ALTERNATIVE “MAYHEM” VERSION
Use this version if you want to quickly check spawn distances.
This version lower all spawn timers to ridiculously low values. The zone will become a complete battlefield.
Ideally, start you run from the safe zone to see effects quickly.

GENERAL NOTE
ALife Extended increases AI distance spawn just like Roadside Panic, but a bit less to avoid “not encountering any action” and performance issues. Roadside Panic decreased the spawn timers to fix that. ALife Extended use all default game timers. There should no noticable performance impact.
COMPATIBILITY
This mod will not work with any other “A-Life” mod. It goes without saying.
