Render CEO config for 40 series GPU havers.
HI! I’m BabaBooey. You might remember me from Cyberpunk 2077 mods such as GITS, METROGLASS, and the “Re” series. I’m short on time these days, but STALKER 2 is my long awaited comfort game and I want to share the config I’m tinkering with at the moment. There a just a few things you need to know so things don’t go horrible wrong.
1. This is intended for 40 series Nvidia cards that make use of FrameGeneration AND DLSS Quality.
2. Have your Graphics settings in game setup how you want BEFORE copy/pasting the User Settings from the included config into your own – DO NOT throw the file into the folder. It only includes the specific settings for increasing specific fidelity settings, meaning it will reset everything else. likewise – changing graphics settings options may revert our config to “EPIC” level.
3. After you launch the game you will notice several graphics tabs say “Low” – ignore this. We’ve set those render elements to cinematic but the game doesn’t offer the choice in menu; it can’t represent that properly in the UI so it only says “Low”.
4. DO NOT Global Illumination Quality to 4 then complain to me about your performance. I didn’t not set this to cinematic for a reason. Don’t complain to me about your performance at all actually; this is a fidelity config – It’s not intended to make the game run better.
5. DO NOT set Shadow quality to 4 either.
