Complete Weaponsystem Overhaul and quality of life changes
Changes the complete handling of all weapons with a few additional adjustments and goodies.
This is my second mod in addition to my Custom UDP-Mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/927). It was not my goal to make it as realistic as possible, but rather to achieve a better balance, but to maintain the difficulty.
I am open to feedback and changes.
Installation:
Extract the .pak file, copy it to the following path: STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl \ Stalker2 \ Content \ Paks \~mod
I’ve attached the zipped files in case you want to modify it. If you want to do that and upload it, please refer to my original mod.
Changes made:
Playerweaponsettingsprototypes.cfg
The durability loss per shot has been made more realistic (it still decreases, but much slower and more realistic than before)
All weapon damage has been changed to feel more realistic, ammo types now make more sense. However, this is not a mod that aims for aboslute reality
Changed all armor piercing stats to make more sense
weapongeneralsetupprototypes.cfg
Changes aiming time to be a little faster
Changes reload time to be 20% faster
Changes firerate of a lot of guns to be a little faster
Changes firemodes of some weapons (My custom UDP-Mod is included, also the AS Lavina has a 2 Round Burst shot like the AN-94)
Changes sounds of some guns (i like it but i can make a version with standard sounds if needed)

Cost for every artifact has greatly been rised (artifacts are rare and should also earn the player good money)
