No more Depth Fog

This is a single line for your engine.ini file, that removes the game’s “depth fog”.

Just add this single line to your engine.ini file:
r.Fog=0

Your engine.ini is inside your ~\AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows directory with all the other .ini files.

If you’re someone trying to increase foliage, draw distance and get the game looking nice and pristine – this will help with removing the (in my opinion) WAY too close depth fog.

I know some people think it helps create some levels of depth, but the way this game uses it is way too close, makes me feel like I’m in an early PS3-era game.

The attached photos should help you see the difference.

The file I’m providing is just a simple engine.ini file with the single line in it, you can just add it to your own engine.ini file. It won’t effect anything else, won’t affect performance, but makes a difference in open areas. I noticed a lot of those “make game look great” or “increase draw distance” mods don’t seem to disable depth fog, so here, now you can be reminded to disable it.
