Potato (Optimization – FPS Boost)
Well, if game “low settings” is too high for you & you have small FPS,
than it can help you to shoot “game settings” down through the bottom
to became “Potato Quality” ((Boost FPS))
How to install
1. Open the game and set everything in settings as minimum or disable — save it, close the game after that.
2. Download file «Potato.zip», and open archive.
3. Place «Engine.ini» to folder:
• For Steam (and other) — AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\Windows
• For Xbox – AppData\Local\Stalker2\Saved\Config\WinGDK
4. Place «zCustomGraphics_P.pak» to the «~mods» in game folder:
…\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods
[for example: C:\Games\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods]
5. Play game with Potato Quality
How to uninstall
Delete “Engine.ini” & “zCustomGraphics_P.pak” from own folders.
IMPORTANT TIPS
1. If your FPS has dropped low after the cutscene or something like that, make a quick save and upload it.
• For example: it was like this for me after the end of the prologue of the game – the frame rate dropped to 20FPS, and after a quick save and download it increased again to 100FPS+
2.Flashlight decrease your FPS when it turned on, so if you would like to have more FPS and not use the flashlight in the Settings → Display → Gamma: 66%
