Project Darkzone – Immersive Movement (powered by SCAM)
This is a simple yet immersive configuration to base movement & optionally to climbing without breaking puzzles to use as a stand-alone or to use with my upcoming modpack titled “Project Darkzone”
Have you ever felt out of place, Like you’re the only one in the zone who’s had two too many energy drinks as you’re running around at the speed of light in safezones and that walking has no purpose and is way too slow , but you still want to feel immersed?
Introducing: Immersive Movement
tweaked the parameters using: SCAM (Stalker Configurator Aiming & Movement) by v3fish this guy deserves all the endorsements for making tweaking of movement/stamina/ledge possible
What this mod does:
Slows down moderately the base run and sprint speeds
Increases walking speed making walking more viable while in safezone , or if youre out for a stroll in the zone , artifact hunting or even clearing out buildings like a special combat operator
Sprinting cost less stamina to compensate for lost sprint speed
OPTIONALLY (Included as separate mod)
Changes climbing and vaulting to be more viable without breaking puzzles with improved scan registration for ledges and windows
Installation
1. Unzip the file with 7zip
2. Drag your chosen file (only pick one) into your ~mods folder
3. Start your game and load in your save
4. spam open your bag or take damage to let the changes take place
5. save your game to save changes
Safe to install/uninstall in your playthrough
This mod will be included in my upcoming modpack collection “Project Darkzone” and will play a vital part in its core gameplay mechanics
