Remove Ambient Mutant Sounds
Removes the random mutant dog and howling ambient sounds.
I initially created this mod for myself but decided to share it in case someone is interested.
I just replaced the mutant sound files with silent ones.
It’s not just background dog sounds but also the other background mutant sounds that’s removed.
personally, I find those annoying and breaks immersion because they sound repetitive over time.
This may break the atmosphere of the game since there will be times that the game will be silent.
Those were added for a reason, but I prefer it gone because it’s not working for me.
This does not affect the actual mutant dogs in the zone, just the background sfx.
Installation:
Put the pak file in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods
