SKILL MAGAZINES
Add depth to your adventure in the Zone with a unique series of over 30 magazines, each with its own unique effect. Learn the secrets of survival, trading, and upgrading your gear to gain advantages such as improved protection, reduced weapon wear, or discounts from traders. The effect of a magazine is activated after the first reading, but due to the harsh conditions of the Zone, the magazines are quite fragile and fall apart immediately after use. Extra copies can be sold to get the most out of them. Become a master of survival using the wisdom preserved on the pages of these publications!
Installation
1. Export files from SkillMagazines archive into your “~mods” folder (S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 Heart of Chornobyl\Stalker2\Content\Paks\~mods)
2. Download SkillMagazines_Localization, remove localization pack from “~mods” folder and export files from downloaded archive there
or use Community Localization Project/Real Weapon Names Global suitable version.
* Backup your game saves before mod installation!
Compatibility
1. This mod doesn’t contain any default cfg files and should be compatible with any mod that doesn’t have new Localization files
2. At the moment this mod supports only 3 languages: EN, UA, RU (English localization is used for other languages)
3. SkillMagazines_Localization (v1.0) contains localizations from next mods:
Real Weapon Names
Fast Travel with Anyone v2.0
Skif’s X7 Suit and Alpha HOC v3.0
OXA – Oxide’s eXpanded Armory v1.8
A.R.T – Artifacts Reforged and Transformed v1.15
And all mods supported by Community Localization Project v1.7
So you can use this localization pack if you play with any of these mods.
Important info
This mod only adds items with their effect. To add these items to the world spawn, use other mods that add item spawns and support this mod, or use provided integration files (see Optional Files section)
Uninstall instruction
TBD, but in general it should be enough to delete the integration files with other mods, sell all new items, wait until they disappear from the trading inventory and delete all mod files from the “~mods” folder.
