STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Targeted for December 2023 Launch
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl might launch on December 1, 2023, as per Plaion’s German site.
Wccftech found that Plaion’s official store lists the game for a December 1 PC release. The game is described as a blend of FPS, horror, and immersive simulation with survival elements and dynamic day-night cycles.
The mentioned date could be provisional, but December 1 falls on a Friday, a popular game release day. Games without confirmed dates on the site are listed for December 31. Notably, this store previously leaked Darksiders 2’s Switch date in a similar manner.
GSC World, the developer and publisher, hasn’t officially announced a release date for STALKER 2 but did mention its presence at Gamescom 2023, hinting it might be nearing completion.
Originally slated for April 2022, STALKER 2 was delayed to December 2022. Following Russia’s Ukraine invasion, GSC halted development in March, resuming in May. The game’s launch was then hinted for early 2023 during Xbox and Bethesda’s 2022 event. Although absent from the 2023 Xbox Games Showcase, GSC promised more updates soon.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is set for PC and Xbox Series X|S releases.
