Get Veles Detector earlier in the game, but you have to walk a bit.
The Medic in Yaniv sells Veles Detector early in the game, before the player reaches PlayerRank Master. Intended for players who want to explore the zone comfortably first and only follow the main quest later. You have to walk a bit. Have same 50% chance like Bear.

Installation:
Unzip the archive and put the .pak file to the ~mods folder. If you do not have one -> make one.

Changes the file
…\Stalker2\Content\GameLite\GameData\ItemGeneratorPrototypes\DynamicItemGenerator.cfg
and conflict with every mod changing the same file, for example Mutant Loot. Use Configuration FIle Merge Tool for merging configuration files in mod packs.
